On 7th April 2007 Cuttlebrook Koi Farm hosted a fund raising auction for the British Koi Keepers Society.  All koi in the auction were provided by Cuttlebrook Koi Farm and ranged in size from 5 inches upwards.  The fantastic weather on the day helped to make it an enjoyable event with free food and drink provided throughout the day.  This event was exclusive to BKKS members only and tickets to take part in the auction were £5.00 each.  Koi enthusiasts travelled from far and wide to take part in the auction and over £1000 was raised for the BKKS in the process.

A purpose built auction channel was constructed for the event in which koi were placed in a floating basket and then moved along the channel so that bidders could get a good view of what they were bidding for.  Mark Gardner from NTV covered the event and the bidding was quite fierce at times! For more pictures of the event click here.
